With a picturesque view of the Hudson River, this West Village bachelor wanted his interior to rival the exterior of his home.
Easy upgrades, such as refinishing the cabinets and adding new hardware, gave the kitchen an easy upgrade. By shifting the furniture arrangement in the living room, we were able to optimize the fuctionality of the space, while incorporating a home office and second bedroom in the layout.
A modern yet mature living room was the directive, and so we used white paint to give the space a blank canvas for reclaimed wood pieces and textured fabrics. Orange pillows and an assortment of decorative objects heighten the refined and masculine vibe.
Desiring a lived-in, eclectic feel for his space, we selected several vintage finds from antique dealers, which contributes to this warm and inviting home.
