When a family in London purchased a vacation home in South Beach, they reached out to Decor Aid, and tasked with with transforming their waterfront condo into a space worthy of their primary residence.
Upon arrival at the recently acquired space, we knew that the entire condo was undoubtably in need of a remodel. Outdated fixtures and dull wall colors adorned the living room. The kitchen was equally drab, with peeling paint on the cabinets and outdated appliances.
We began the project by demolishing the entire condo, creating a clean slate for this contemporary, luxurious home. The kitchen’s stainless steel appliances were decked out with touch-latch cabinetry. A white composite countertop gives the space an easy-to-clean option. A Tom Dixon chandelier gives the space a luxe finish.
Views of the Miami harbor were one of the apartment’s most desirable features, and so we selected backless barstools and translucent pieces from Clayton Grey, along with a low-profile sectional from Interior Define.
To emphasize the condo’s waterfront location, we placed high-sheen turquoise area rugs in the master bedroom and living room. Desert sand furniture pieces, sheer white curtains and a custom-made wood media console complete the condo’s serene, relaxing vibe.
